We have had an amazing start to Year 2 and managed to squeeze so much fun into our learning this term.
In maths, we have practised our number skills and learnt new methods for working with larger numbers and enjoyed naming and describing 2D and 3D shapes. In computing, we have gained confidence in using drawing and painting tools to create our own pieces of art. We recognise the importance of our 5 senses and had fun experimenting with these, especially the taste and smell tests!
Leading up to Christmas, we had a great day out at the cinema, followed by a delicious lunch at Pizza Hut, and we also went to the pantomime. Not to forget our Christmas performance, although some of us got a touch of stage-fright, we did an amazing job at entertaining the whole school and our families and carers.
