  • Tips for getting SEND support for school anxiety and avoidance It’s normal for young people to find going back to school nerve-wracking, and there can be lots of different reasons for this. But if a young person in your life is really struggling day-to-day with anxiety around school, and you are uncertain about the cause, it could be a sign of an undiagnosed Special Educational Need or Disability (SEND) such as a mental health condition, autism or ADHD.
