Class 10 - Miss Knaggs
Britain at War
What a great term Class 10 has had! We have worked hard and learned a range of new skills. Our Science lessons taught us about the circulatory system and we even made a blood sample (using golden syrup, milk and red food colouring). In History, we have been studying the Britain at War. We have learned about the First and Second world wars, even using VR headsets to see life in the trenches. We pushed our limits at Robinwood and we have all had an amazing build up to Christmas with a trip to the Mayor's Carol Service and Pantomime.
Frozen Kingdoms
During the Spring term, we have been working really hard in English and Maths as we prepare for our upcoming SATs. Though we still had time for a range of exciting learning opportunities, including several skateboard lessons and we had a fabulous time ice skating. We celebrated World Book Day and developed our understanding of Autism and Down Syndrome. We took part in an interesting, informative workshop all about the Titanic and wrote as if we were a passenger on board.
