Autumn 1: Everyone Different, Everyone Loved.

This term the children have been looking at all things Autumn, and exploring all the different colours and textures. We have had lots of fun on our Autumn walk together, finishing off with a lovely snack in the local Café.

We have been investigating pumpkins in different ways, including making and tasting pumpkin soup. The children have enjoyed getting very muddy, and completing their Autumn promise making mud pies together in the woodland.

Autumn 2: How does bear celebrate?.

We have had another busy term learning about the different celebrations with bear, we have been celebrating Diwali, bonfire night and Christmas. We have enjoyed joining in with lots of children in need activities. This term we have also celebrated Bears birthday and having a birthday tea party for him.

To finish off a lovely busy term we all went on a trip to Cherry Hill Garden Centre, where we went on a lovely and exciting Christmas walk, and then at the end got to feed real reindeers.

Spring 1 : That's Not My Bear!

During Spring 1 the children have been celebrating Chinese New Year, tasting lots of yummy Chinese food, and having fun learning Chinese dances. The children have been taking part in activities for Children's Mental Health week, they really enjoyed singing happy songs during band time. We have had fun inviting our adults come and play with us making chocolate crispy cakes.

Throughout this term we have been exploring lots of different messy and creative activities with sensory jelly, foam, water, sand and making pictures with loose parts.

Spring 2 : Down on the Farm with Bear.

This term we have been learning about the farm, and all the different animals that live on the farm and the sounds they make. We have also been learning about tractors and what grows on the farm. We have been celebrating pancake day, tasting yummy pancakes with different toppings. We enjoyed having a lovely spring nature walk and making a trip to our local park. The children have been getting messy decorating Easter eggs, painting and mark making. At the end of the term, the children had a lovely time with their adults getting busy with Easter crafts outside and finishing with an Easter egg hunt.
