Reduction to admission numbers
In 2017, our pupil admission numbers increased, from 30, to 45 places in response to a request from the Local Authority.
Recently we sought to decrease our pupil admission numbers following a school placements meeting with the Local Authority, as data shows a decrease in the birth rate meaning less demand for school places.
Following our request to the Local Authority to reduce our intake back to 30 in September 2023, there was a consultation period and it was agreed this could happen.
Since Sept 2025 we have been undergoing significant building work, therefore our numbers are currently capped in Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 to allow sufficient physical space in the building for teaching.
Our current admission intakes for each year group for 202/27 are as follows:
