Why do you love me so much?
What is that rustling sound?
It's been a busy half term in the Clever Caterpillars. The children have been exploring and getting used to their new environment. They have been playing with other children and making new friends. This half term the children have read some traditional tales including Goldilocks and the Three Bears and The Three Little Pigs. The children have loved being in the nursery environment and had lots of fun learning!
We have been having lots of fun this half term in the Clever Caterpillars. We have learnt all about things that are shiny and not shiny. We have also enjoyed getting ready for Christmas. Richard Drake came to share Christmas stories with us, we helped to put up the Christmas tree and have enjoyed doing lots of Christmas crafts. We have enjoyed playing with each other and built on our friendship and communication and language skills.
How does that building stay up?
Do dragons exist?
It's been a very different half term in the Clever Caterpillars for Spring 1. The children have been busy doing lots of learning both in school and at home and have all worked really hard. We started off this half term looking at buildings and houses before moving on to learning about some more traditional tales including The Three Little Pigs. We also enjoyed learning about Chinese New Year, we particularly enjoyed making lanterns, doing some dragon dancing and tasting some Chinese food!
It's been a brilliant half term in Clever Caterpillars. We have loved welcoming all of the children back into school. The children have built on their friendships with their peers and enjoyed being back in nursery learning together. We have done lots of learning based around Spring and Easter. The children loved going on a Spring walk around the school grounds looking for signs of Spring. We have also enjoyed looking at Spring animals and getting creative.
