We have all had a great time this half term meeting new friends and learning their names and finding new places in school. It has been great fun listening to new stories such as Guess how much I love you, Owl Babies and That's not my....
During Community week we went to the local playground and practised our climbing and sliding and enjoyed milk and cookies in the local café.
It was a lovely treat listening to Richard from Drake the Bookshop who visited and read us Oi Puppies!
The most magical time was when we played in the rain and mud, we got very wet, very muddy but had big smiles on our faces.
We have all had a great time this half term exploring and playing in our new room, we love the shop and the sensory tray. The children have been busy learning to play with the new toys and continuing to make friendships and follow rules and routines. They have enjoyed helping make snack especially the jelly, angel delight and porridge.
It was a lovely treat listening to Christmas stories read by the librarian and also helping Mrs Elf look for the chocolate left by Keith the elf.
The children have enjoyed a visit from Santa, baking gingerbread men with Mrs Claus and helping Elsa smash the ice to free the animals.
We have all had a great time this half term playing with new toys and equipment and continuing to learn our school rules, making friends and sharing with each other. Our stories this half term have focused on winter and we are really good at listening to stories now.
Our weekly physical session has been planned around dancing to the beat using our favourite nursery rhymes and now we are all good at dancing and it makes us smile!
We have started phase 1 phonics through the introduction of instruments in our weekly band time and the children have absolutely loved playing the instruments although they are very loud!
The children continue to work hard on their independence with putting coats on and off and now know that if they want to go outside they need to wear a coat, wellies and waterproof when it is very wet and windy.
