In Spring 1 we have learnt lots of wonderful things linked to Misty Mountain Sierra.  You can ask us anything about yetis!

In science we tested different ketchups. We enjoyed testing them with hot dogs after the investigation!

We have really enjoyed learning about mountains and the strange creatures that can be found there! Do you believe in yetis? We have examined all the evidence for and against and come up with our own opinions. We will celebrate the end of our topic by visiting clip n climb. We thought the Himalayas were a bit too far away!
All children have brought a password and login home with them to play on a great maths game called Prodigy. You need to use google chrome but other than that it is very straight forward. We have loved using it at school as it is fun but we are learning at the same time.

Welcome to Year 3!

Our first half term has been Scrumdiddlyumptious! We have enjoyed reading Charlie and the Chocolate factory and linked our learning in literacy and theme to this. We have experimented with food and made bouncing eggs and exploding chocolates. We have even used food for art as well getting to eat lots of yummy treats. We are looking forward to sharing our baking with you at the Y3 café next week.
