Our Parent Support Advisor is Helen Conroy
Helen Conroy works in school to offer support to parents and families and to be a link between school and home. Helen has 6 children of her own so has plenty of practical experience of issues that parents may face.
Helen’s role involves visiting parents before their children start Nursery, organising various family events and activities, helping parents fill in forms, offering advice and support on an individual basis and through group activities and courses.
She can also point people in the direction of other agencies that may be able to help families. In an emergency, Helen can help out with getting children to and from school, and can also provide nearly new uniforms. Find out more about benefit entitlement and enjoy various activities, quizzes, budgeting advice and cooking sessions. You can see her in our Community Café on a Friday.
Helen is also available to discuss any concerns you may have about your child or to offer advice and support with general parenting issues including behaviour and provide information about events and activities that take place in our local area.
If you have any concerns about your child or would like to chat to Helen either in School or in your own home then contact her in the School Office or on 07496368035.
